Rhode Island PFAS: Military Sites

The Environmental Working Group Interactive Map focuses on suspected and confirmed military sites with contamination.  You can click on the sites you are interested in and learn more about the site and the suspected types of PFS contamination.

This chart, extracted from PFAS Contamination Site Tracker, provides information about 5 of those contaminated military sites in Rhode Island. More comprehensive information is contained on the PFAS Contamination Site Tracker or the Environmental Working Group Interactive Map. The PFAS amounts listed may be quite old, from as far back as 2016, and with only one round of testing done. Nevertheless, you can get an idea of the contamination in general at these military sites.
